that's how you differentiate between the two types of folks.
a bag of water will land on you today, you can't avoid it even
if you know about it.
but you can carry a change of clothes and towel with you, unless
you enjoy walking around in wet clothes.
knowing something will happen but without the ability to stop
it's occurence, but you have the ability to limit it's impact.
some folks like to walk in the dark, enjoy banging their head on
walls, whereas others prefer to walk with the aid of lighting and
avoid the walls. 
banging head on walls can be quite entertaining and enjoyable
for some folks.
